hope的用法1：hope用作动词的基本意思是“希望”“期望”,指热切、专心致志地对未来的、积极的、崇高的、一些好的或有利的结果的盼望,含有一定的主观性,相信其可能实现。

hope的用法2：hope既可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,其后一般接动词不定式或宾语从句,但不能接名词、动名词作宾语,也不能接复合宾语; 用作不及物动词时,常与介词for连用表示“对…抱有希望”。

hope的用法3：hope接动词不定式的完成体也是表达将来时间。
