雅思大作文范文:父母应该多陪孩子

In China, both of the parents have their jobs. With the development of economy, people tend topursue high quality living conditions. Most of theparents try their best to offer their childrencomfortable circumstances, but they seldom havetime to stay with their children. In my point of view,no matter how busy they are, they should make thebest use of their time to stay with their children.)

First, the love between children and adults will beimproved by spending more time on their children.Children could feel parents' affection through thegenial conversation and sharing their pleasure with them. Every time when parents take themto amusement park, help them to prepare their birthday parties, applaud for them when theyare competing in the sports meeting, the time they spend with children will become treasure intheir memories.

Second, children need the direction from their parents. There are some wrong behaviors inour society such as dishonesty, corruption, violence and eroticism and so on. Children haveweak resistance in defending this detrimental influence. In this case, parents' instructionsseem to be very important to children's growth. Parents should sit down and talk with themabout what they should do and should not do. In addition, if parents often spend time instaying with their children, adults' good behaviors will greatly influence their children.

Here I do not deny that there are some disadvantages in spending too much time onchildren. Some parents restrict their children, and give them little freedom to develop theirinterests. Therefore, I emphasize that parents should educate and instruct their childrenappropriately in their spare time apart from their busy works.

雅思大作文范文:论述你心目中的老师

There is no denying that a teacher's role in theoverall development of a student is multifaceted. As teacher, one's primary obligation is to teach students academic knowledge. Yet, it isequally important for him to make sure that the students make progresses in other aspects.

First of all, whether one can effectively pass academic knowledge to the students makesthe first and most important criterion for judging him as a qualified or unqualified teacher. The main task for the students to perform at school is to lay a solid foundation for theirstudy at a higher level, thus the task for a teacher is to assist them to achieve this goal.

Second, a teacher's obligation is not just confined to passing on academic knowledge tothe students. The students are also supposed to develop their ability to judge right fromwrong, thus becoming good citizens when they step out of school. To do this, a teacher willhave more roles to play than just teaching academic subjects. He will have to set a goodexample of morality himself and share or discuss with his students his viewpoints towardsdifferent phenomena in the society. In a sense, apart from the role as pure academic teacher,he also serves the roles of students' parents at school.

Admittedly, a teacher can relatively be more sure about the academic progress of thestudents, but not that sure about their moral development for the simple reason that thesociety is a big dyeing pool in which one's being dyed into a certain color is the result of manyfactors of which family and many other things also have a role to play. Therefore, seen from thisperspective, the influence of a teacher is, after all, limited.

From the above discussion, we can come to the conclusion that apart from teachingstudents academic subjects, a teacher should also try his best to mould their personality andmoral image. Meanwhile, the society as a whole is also supposed to work together to ensure thestudents' overall development.

雅思大作文题目:

Children who grow up in families which areshort of money are better prepared to deal withthe problems of adult life than children who arebrought up by wealthy parents. To what extentdo you agree or disagree?

雅思大作文范文:

Some feel that the children of low income familiesare better equipped to deal with difficulties posed bythe "real world" when they grow up and they alsobelieve the privileged children of wealthy families areless fit to deal with these difficulties. The implicationsand veracity of this argument seem self-evident,but in fact require closer examination.

The popular wisdom is that children of poorer families learn early on the value of a buck, and are thus naturally better suited to stretching moneywhen times get tough in adulthood.Inversely, the children of wealthy families, thoseborn with a silver spoon in their mouths, arebelieved to be completely ignorant of the value of money, having had everything provided forthem in their youth and oftentimes erroneously expecting the same situation in adulthood. Theyare believed to be prone to overspending and financial irresponsibility. This belief, thoughlogical, overlooks one key point which is, of course, education.

The basis of this argument is, of course, knowing the value of money, and the idea thatchildren of the poor know this, and those of the wealthy do not. Who though, is in a betterposition to teach their children the value of money; someone skilled in earning and keeping it,the wealthy parent, or someone who can not seem to acquire it, the poor parent? Bothwealthy and poor children are equally likely to acquire an education in money, whether it isformal, or in the school of hard knocks. Conversely, both children are as likely to ignore thiseducation.

A poor child may believe that one can get along, if not as easily, without wealth. A wealthychild may be well trained by a parent steeped in the knowledge of money management; the keyto developing this skill is education.
