雅思大作文范文:计算机的利与弊
It is simply absurd to assert that with historicalobjects and works of art being able to be seenthrough a computer, public museums and artgalleries will no longer be needed.
First of all, computers can never replace real public museums and art galleries. No matter howreal and vivid computer images are, they are only images, not the historical objects and worksof art that we see in real or even might be allowed to touch with our fingertips. For those whoclaim museums and galleries are no longer needed because they can see all they want to on acomputer screen, I’d like to suggest that they marry a wife or husband in the computer ratherthan in real life!
In the second place, visiting real museums and art galleries is a rewarding experience in manyrespects. For one thing, it is a good exercise. While we are making the trip to a museum or artgallery and then strolling about on site, we get some exercise which does a lot of good to ourhealth. For another thing, we can feast our eyes on all kinds of things there and experience thewonder, beauty and exquisite workmanship with our own eyes in an active way instead of in apassive manner by looking at what are being displayed to us by others on the screen. For yetanother thing, we protect our eyesight by moving away from the computer screen and see thereal objects on site.
It is true that computers have brought greatconveniences to our life. At certain times, especiallywhen it is temporarily impossible for us to visitmuseums and art galleries in person, we can get arough picture of what are on display on site.However, what we see from a computer screen is,after all, not exactly the same as what we see andfeel with our own eyes on site.
In conclusion, computers will never be able to replace real public museums and art galleries.Therefore, it is ridiculous to say that one does not need to go to museums and art galleries ashistorical objects and works of art can be appreciated on a computer screen.
雅思大作文范文::“师”从电脑还是师从真人
People’s views on the advantages and disadvantages of learning from computers and fromhuman teachers vary from person to person. While some people believe that learning fromcomputers is more convenient and more economical than learning from human teachers,there are others who hold that learning with the help of human teachers can ensure betterlearning effect. On a personal note, I argue that these two approaches both have positive andnegative aspects and thereby a combination of these two approaches of learning is the bestpolicy.
First, nowadays with the development of computer science, we use computers almost in everyaspect of our life, especially in education. Some people predict that one day computers will takethe place of human teachers. Is that true? It is true that it is both convenient and economicalto learn this way. For example, we can listen to online lectures without leaving our homes andcan stop at any time we want. We can also take free courses on the Internet. But we also haveto admit that if we have doubts and problems while we are listening to the on-line lecture, whichis sure to happen from time to time, no one can help us out right away. To solve this problem,what we need to do is perhaps to send e-mails and then wait for the reply for days or even forweeks. However, we don’t have to face such problems if we learn from human teachers as theycan help us out all at once. Also, they can adjust their teaching process according to how wellwe can follow them, that is, they can adapt their teaching methods to suit our actual levels.
While learning from human teachers does possess many an advantage, it is also a fact that wewill have to go to school everyday and in so doing, we will have to spend a lot of time travelingto and from schools, thus suffering from traffic jams and all the other kinds of inconveniences.
As a whole, both computer teachers and human teachers have their advantages anddisadvantages in their own special and unique way. Therefore, I’m sure they will exist side byside in the future. This means that it is most advisable for us to combine these two ways oflearning.
雅思大作文题目:
The age of Information Technology hastaken a lot of people by surprise. While it hasbecome a way of life for some, others knowvery little about it and may be unlikely to learn.Eventually we will have a polarized society andthis will lead to serious social problems.
To what extent do you agree with thisstatement?
雅思大作文范文:
At the mercy of the ever-acceleratedadvancement of the information technology, greatchanges have occurred in almost every sphere of ourlife. Apparently, some people have managed to be perfectly adapted to this completely new era,and a few of them even developed their talent for the information technology as their lifetimecareer. However,there still exist a number of people who have little access to the advancedtechnology and are unlikely to be able to learn it in the future as well. Thus, this disquietingfact has inevitably led to our concerns that a polarized society with terrible social problems isapproaching.
It is without denying that the advent of the new era has brought about the ever-greaterwealth for human beings. This has led some people to easily assume that a better life has beencreated for every member of the society. But pause and reflection! While considering thedistribution of the wealth, these people may not be so optimistic. According to the researchcarried out by Sus* University in London, the great growth in gross domestic product has notresulted in the wealth being spread evenly across the population, to be exact, with 2% topincomes taking away 71% of the increased wealth.
Therefore, we can hardly be surprised to observe that while the rich have benefited a lotfrom the rapid development of the information technology, the poor have struggled to attainthe thinnest fruit. It can never be something surprising with regard to the mere fact that at thetime a rich businessman is busy with his well-equipped commercial computer to harness thepower of the internet to carry on his business, a typical poor man are making great efforts tohunt for his next meal. Maybe this seemingly strange society is just following the law ofMatthew effect, that is to say, "those that have will have it more abundantly, whereas thosethat have not will have even that which they have taken away."
All these on-going trends will inexorably give rise to a polarised society with the rich andpoor placed on two extreme positions, which may form a negative confrontation between thetwo poles and result in some serious social problems.
